Icare – Sam’s Journey

Sam’s story is part of Phil’s ongoing collaboration with Jules and the team at Melhuish& Co to create video content for their client ICare.  Phil has a great depth of experience of working with real folk, especially helping them to feel at ease in front of the camera.  This is especially important when the subject matter is delicate.

For documentary portraits of this style there is only a short time to build a rapport with the subject and its here where Phil excels.  This video is a great of example of 2FEET’s production value.

APA

With the help of Sydney creative agency BWD, energy infrastructure company APA has unveiled a new brand strategy and identity.  2 Feet was delighted to have been asked to collaborate with the team at BWD on the launch video for this major rebranding project.

Shooting in Queensland for 3 days, Phil worked with local staff as they all became “connected” as one with the new branding device.

This kind of video is a great example of Phil directing and shooting by himself with great results.  His ability in helping non actors feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera while shooting on the latest light weight Canon cinema camera is the perfect combination for projects demanding this kind of approach.

WESTIN

This 90 second content material starring Rachel Finch was shot in collaboration with GTI Tourism and Hat & Rabbits Singapore. Over 2 days we shot with Canon’s latest cinema camera the C300 MK 11. With a lightweight crew we were able move quickly around various Sydney city locations for stunning results.
Working with talent of Rachel’s calibre requires experience and confidence, to maximise the opportunities with the celebrity’s busy schedule …and this is one of Phil’s specialties. Having worked with many A List actors Phil is right at home with this kind of shoot.

EGGS

It’s a cooking show, content and hack all rolled up into a hilarious multi camera shoot with Jimmy James and a lot of eggs. This content package is a great example of getting a good combination of material over a couple of days, by using great talent and a director that knows how to capitalise on such an opportunity. We cover the main action with 2 Canon Cinema cameras and had some go pros hidden on set as well…so basically a 3 camera shoot on shoestring for abundantly great results.
